NOTE:
● When the drive select lever is in the
neutral position, the neutral indicator
light should come on. If the neutral
indicator light does not come on, ask a
service center to inspect the electric
circuit.
● The engine can be started in any gear if
the brake is applied. However, it is
recommended to shift into neutral before
starting the engine.
3. Use the starter (choke) in reference to
the figure:
Position①: Cold engine start ambient
temperature below 41°F (5℃)
Position②: Cold engine start ambient
temperature at 32°F - 86°F (0
℃ - 30℃).
Position③: Cold engine start ambient
temperature above 86

a. Choke knob 1. Fully open
2. Half open 3. Closed
4. With your foot off the accelerator pedal,
start the engine by turning the key to
“START”.
