Operating Instructions:
To open lock box for first time
use (fig. 1):
1. Press down “CLEAR” (C) button (g. 1b).
2. Press down “OPEN” button (g. 1a).
3. Guide compartment door down to
fully open.
To set a new combination (fig. 2):
1. Open lock box and locate the yellow
Recode Tool.
2. With compartment door open, locate the 12
yellow plastic slotted buttons behind the door
(numbered from 0 to 9 and symbols # and *).
All arrows on buttons should be set to the
“SET OFF” position (g. 2b).
3. Using the yellow Recode Tool or a small athead
screwdriver, PUSH and TURN the desired
number/symbol buttons 180° (1/2 turn) (g. 2c)
to the “SET ON”position (g. 2a).
IMPORTANT:
* COMBINATION CAN BE
1-12 CHARACTERS
LONG BUT CANNOT USE THE SAME
CHARACTER MORE THAN ONCE.
** BUTTON IS PROPERLY SET WHEN IT
POPS UP. IT SHOULD NOT REMAIN
PUSHED IN.
4. The lock is now set to your
new combination.
5. Save your combination in a safe place
such as masterlockvault.com or record
it below.
To close and lock box (fig. 3):
1. Press down “CLEAR” (C) button (g. 3a).
2. Enter the combination.
3. Press down and hold “OPEN”
button (g. 3b).
4. Close compartment door.
To open lock box with set
combination (fig. 3):
1. Press down “CLEAR” (C) button (g. 3a).
2. Enter the combination.
3. Press down “OPEN” button (g. 3b).
4. Guide compartment door down
to fully open.
To hang wall mount model:
You will need: pencil or marker, Phillips
head screwdriver, level, drill, and drill bit.
For certain surfaces (masonry) anchors
and a hammer are recommended.
1. Open the compartment door.
(see instructions above)
2. Position the lock on the desired surface.
3.
Use level to verify the lock is vertical.
4. Mark the position of the screw holes
on the surface.
5. Remove lock.
6. Drill holes.
7. If necessary, use hammer to place anchors.
8. Position lock.
9. Insert and tighten screws.
10. Close compartment door.
11. Scramble the combination dials to lock the
door and conceal your combination (A).
Notes:
1. Always keep weather cover closed to
withstand extreme weather (g. 4).
2. Use ANTI-JAM hook to hang keys and
prevent loose keys from jamming
the door closed (g. 5).
