  If the power light on your Masterbuilt Smoker won't come on, first ensure it's properly plugged into the wall. If it is, check your household breakers, making sure no other appliances are operating on the same electrical circuit. For wire connection issues, refer to step 2 on page 16. If none of these steps work, the controller may be malfunctioning, and you should contact Masterbuilt.

Then, verify that the house breaker hasn't tripped, and avoid operating other appliances on the same electrical circuit. Why does my Masterbuilt Smoker take so long to heat up?

  If your Masterbuilt Smoker is taking longer than 60-70 minutes to heat up, avoid using an extension cord by setting up the smoker so you don't need one. Make sure the door is properly closed and the latch is securely fastened. If the issue persists, the controller might be malfunctioning, and you should contact Masterbuilt.

What to do if grease is leaking out of my Masterbuilt Smoker?

  If grease is leaking from your Masterbuilt Smoker through the door and legs, ensure the drip pan is correctly positioned so the hole lines up with the drain hole at the bottom of the smoker. Also, clean the smoker to remove any excess grease or oil buildup. Check the drain tube at the back of the smoker to ensure it is not blocked and is draining properly.

  If the interior light of your Masterbuilt Smoker does not come on, replace the bulb with a 15W-25W bulb made for ovens. Also, make sure that the switch is turned on.
