WIND THE SPOOL WITH NEW LINE
(fig 13)
1. Detach the spool cap and spool from the spool
base (refer to fig 12 ). Remove the old cutting line
from the spool.
2. Insert about 5/8” (15 mm) of line into the spool
hole (
fig 13a ) and wind line in the direction of the
arrows on the top of the spool ( fig 13b). Ensure
that the line is neatly coiled on the spool. Failure to
do so will impair the efficiency of the automatic line
feed.
3. Leave approximately 4” (10 cm) of line unwound
and place it through two notches on the spool
( fig 13c).
4. Release the cutting line from notches and insert
the line through the eyelet. Place the spool onto the
spool base ( fig 13d).
5. Press two tabs of the spool cap, align tabs with
slots of spool base, and then press the spool cap
onto the spool base ( fig 12a).
