How to fix MasterCraft 060-1349-2 Trimmer head that will not advance line?

  If your MasterCraft Trimmer head won't advance the line, there are a couple of things you can check. First, the motor shaft or trimmer head could be bound with grass; stop the trimmer, remove the battery, and clean the motor shaft and trimmer head. Alternatively, there might not be enough line on the spool; remove the battery and replace the cutting line, following the instructions in the manual section 'WIND THE SPOOL WITH NEW LINE'.

  If your MasterCraft Trimmer isn't working, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, the motor might be overloaded; in this case, remove the trimmer head from the grass, restart the tool, and ensure you're only cutting grass no more than 8" (20 cm) in a single pass. Also, release the trigger switch, wait for the tool to cool down, and then start it again. Another possibility is that the battery pack or string trimmer is too hot, so release the trigger switch, allow the tool to cool down, and try starting it again.

  If the motor shaft or trimmer head of your MasterCraft Trimmer is bound with grass, stop the trimmer, remove the battery, and remove the grass from the motor shaft and trimmer head.
