5. NEVER wear watches, rings, bracelets, or necklaces
when working with car batteries. Batteries can
produce a short-circuit current high enough to weld
a ring or the like to metal, causing a severe burn.

BATTERY BACKUP MAINTENANCE
Unscrew the front panel.
Remove wires of BBU connector from the tab located at the top of the BBU
holster. Unplug connector from the BBU .
Plug the new BBU/cover connector. Place the wires
under the tab
Screw the front panel to the garage opener.
