4. Pull the RFID Board straight away from the UCB, holding by the upper sides.
• Do not angle or bend the connections.
5. Install the RFID board by aligning all the pins of the header and gently pressing straight in to the
UCB.
6. Affix with 2 #2 Phillips in the UCB bosses.
7. Install the Fan Bracket.
8. Install the Console upper rear shroud.

Speaker
This speaker tones to indicate workout start or on button presses, if enabled.
Follow these steps to replace this part.
1. Remove the Console upper rear shroud.
2. Remove two #2 Phillips screws securing the speaker from the fan bracket.
3. Disconnect the wire from UCB socket J24.
The speaker can be removed from the console. To install,

5. Align and connect the wire to UCB socket J24.
6. Install the Console upper rear shroud.

Touch Input Board (TouchXL only)
The TouchXL console uses an additional interface board between the touchscreen (permanently affixed
to the console front plastic panel) and the UCB.
The ribbon cable from the Touch Panel connects to this board on two very delicate sockets.
There currently isn’t good knowledge about what happens when this board fails, or how to troubleshoot
issues with it.
