1. Remove the Console from the Frame.
2. Remove the Fan Bracket.
Remove the UCB
3. Touch only: Skip this step if only removing UCB to access Touch, LVDS, or Backlight
cables/connectors. Remove 2 #1 Phillips from fan vent shroud (top center); set aside.
4. Remove LVDS connector from UCB socket JP4 (LCD).
a. Pinch retaining clips on both sides of connector by reaching under top frame rail; pull
connector straight away from UCB.
5. Remove connector from UCB socket J6 (Backlight).
a. Thumbnails pushing connector ‘ears’ directly away from UCB is suggested.
6. Touch only: Skip this step if only removing UCB to access Touch, LVDS, or Backlight
cables/connectors. Remove 2 #2 Phillips from RFID/NFC board in UCB socket CN12 (RFID/NFC).
a. Gently lift board straight up from the UCB, lifting on either side of the connector along
the ‘upper’ edge – do not angle or bend; set aside to reuse.
7. Remove RFID antenna from UCB connector CN13.
8. Remove 1 #2 Phillips from Wi-Fi board in UCB socket CN5.
a. Board will tilt upwards, pull away in line with the Wi-Fi board.
