LVDS Cable
The LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signal) cables transmits image data from the UCB to the console
Display. The connectors on both ends are very delicate and subject to damage if handled improperly.
The LVDS Cable must be disconnected in the process of servicing the UCB, Display, and Touch Panel.
Follow these steps to replace this part.
1. Remove the Console from the Frame.
2. Touch only: Remove the Console Frame from the Console.
3. Touch only: Remove the UCB (Some UCB removal steps can be omitted – the display connector
is behind the UCB).
4. Gently squeeze the clips on each side of the UCB connector in to release.
5. Touch only: Install the UCB
6. Touch only: Install the Console Frame into the Console.
7. Install the Console on the Frame.
