Windows 2000/XP –
1 Click Start " Settings * " Control Panel " Performance and Maintenance * " System
" Hardware " Device Manager . (* Depending on your configuration of Windows, this
part of the step may not be necessary.)
2 Under Sound, video and game controllers , right-click your built-in audio hardware and
select
Disable . For more information on the audio hardware in your system, see your
system manual.
3 Click Yes " Yes . For changes to take effect, your computer must be restarted.
Windows Vista –

2 Under Sound, video and game controllers , right-click your built-in audio hardware and

Cause Yo u r Line Out connector ( ) may be muted because you have another audio device
connected to the
Headphones connector ( ).

Solution Make sure nothing is connected to the Headphones connector at the front of your unit.
