Transportation and handling
The whole area for the machine handling,
including the space between the parking
area for transport means and the machine
installing area should be identified and
inspected beforehand, to nd any possible
"DANGEROUS AREAS".
Be careful when handling, lifting and transporting
the machine, not to damage it and not to damage
things or cause injuries to persons.
For this purpose:
❏ Verify the total mass of the machine
and use a forlift truck or an adequate lifting
means. Specic pictrograms indicate the
lifting points.
❏The centre of gravity is near the coupling
between motor and compressor; before lift-
ing, check (lift the unit from the ground just
slightly) that lifting points are correct and there
is not risk of overturning.
❏When lifting, be careful not to damage the
bearing structure (base) of the machine and
the soundproof canopy.
During the transport, carefully x the machine
to the means used, by blocking it lengthways
and sideways.
It is recommended to protect the machine
from atmospheric agents with suitable cov-
ering.
Unpack the machine by removing the guards
and place it on the oor by means of a forklift
truck to remove the pallet.
