Long-Term Battery Storage
Properly storing your battery during periods of non-use can greatly affect its longevity. For short-term
storage (for example, periods of less than one month) all you need to do is store the battery someplace
temperature controlled. For longer-term storage, simply give the battery a full charge, and again keep
it in a temperature-controlled environment. If storage is to exceed 60 days or more, it's best to plug in
your charger and top off the battery every two months or so.
Safe temperature range for storage:
50 °F – 77 °F (10 °C – 25°C)
