Power Supply through External Mains Adapter
The DJ controller can be supplied with power through the USB interface of the connected computer or an external
mains adapter.
Usually, the performance of a USB interface is sufficient as a power supply. However, if any problems arise (e.g.
because several USB devices with high power intake are connected, such as hard discs), you may need to use an
external mains adapter.
Only use mains adapters that comply with the applicable safety provisions. Observe the safety
notes in the operating instructions for the mains adapter. Always disconnect the mains adapter
from the device when it is not in use. Only use the mains adapter as described below.
A suitable mains adapter has the following features:
Output voltage: 5V/DC (stabilised)
Load capacity: min. 1A
Connection plug: 5.5 / 2.5mm (outer/inner diameter)
Plug polarity: inside positive / outside negative
• Plug the low-voltage plug of the mains adapter into POWER socket (38) at the back of the device.
• Plug the mains adapter into a wall socket.
