Assembly

Steering Wheel

Mount the extension shaft, main shaft cover, and secure the steering wheel.

Extension Shaft

Install the extension shaft for the steering wheel assembly.

Install Seat

Secure the seat to the seat pan and tighten the bolt. Adjust seat for comfortable position.

Adjust Seat

Slide seat until comfortable position is reached, allowing full pedal travel.

Install Battery

Functional Description

Positioning of Controls

Identify and understand the location and function of key controls on the tractor.

Light Switch

Controls the operation of the headlights, if equipped.

Throttle Control

Regulates engine revs and blade rotation speed.

Clutch/Brake Pedal

Used for declutching, braking the tractor, and starting the engine.

Forward/Reverse Drive Pedal

Controls the direction and speed of movement.

Cutting Unit Connection/Disconnection

Connect or disconnect the drive to the cutting unit.

Quick Lifting/Lowering of Cutting Unit

Raise or lower the cutting unit quickly for terrain or transport.

Ignition Lock

Parking Brake

Free-wheel Control Lever

Choke Control

Before Starting

Filling Up

Use unleaded petrol, fill outdoors, do not smoke, do not overfill, check cap and store fuel safely.

Oil Level

Check oil level when the engine is cold and the tractor is horizontal. Use specified oil.

Tire Air Pressure

Check tire pressure regularly and ensure tires are properly inflated to the PSI shown.

Driving

Starting the Motor

Sit on seat, depress brake, set parking brake, ensure cutting unit is in transport and disengaged position.

Important! Cold Starting

Warm up transmission for 1 minute in neutral before driving. Safety switch interaction.

To Move Forward and Backward

Use drive pedals to control direction and speed.

Cutting

Lower cutting unit, select speed based on terrain and desired results.

Reverse Operation System (ROS)

Cutting Tips

Driving Direction for Cutting

Use right turns to throw grass away from beds. Change direction for large lawns.

Cutting Near Obstacles

Use the left side to cut close to trees and bushes.

Before Each Use

Check oil, lubricate pivots, check fasteners, battery, air screen, and brakes.

Cleaning

Avoid high-pressure water. Use compressed air or leaf blower. Clean steering plate.

Blade Removal

Remove the blade bolt securing the blade. Reassemble securely.

To Replace Mower Drive Belt

Mower Drive Belt Removal

Park tractor, lower lift lever, remove dirt, and remove belt from pulleys.

Mower Drive Belt Installation

Install belt around pulleys, then onto clutch pulley. Check routing. Raise lift lever.

To Level Mower

Visual Side-to-Side Adjustment

Adjust mower side-to-side by turning lift link nut until grass appears evenly cut.

Precision Side-to-Side Adjustment

Measure blade distance to ground on both sides and adjust for equal height.

Troubleshooting

Engine Will Not Start

Check fuel, plug, connections, carburetor, and fuel pipe.

Start Motor Will Not Turn Engine

Check battery, contacts, position lever, fuse, ignition lock, safety contacts, and pedal.

Engine Runs Unevenly

Check gear, plug, carburetor, air filter, fuel tank ventilation, ignition, and fuel pipe.

Engine Feels Weak

Check air filter, plug, carburetor/fuel pipe, and carburetor setting.

Engine Overheats

Check for engine overload, blocked air inlet/fins, fan damage, oil level, ignition, or plug.

Battery Does Not Charge

Check fuse, cell condition, and battery contacts.

Lighting Does Not Function

Check headlight connector, bulbs, switch, and cable for short circuits.

The Machine Vibrates

Check for loose blades, engine, or imbalance.

Uneven Cutting Results

Check for blunt blades, skewed deck, long/wet grass, grass under cover, tire pressure, gear, or slipping belt.

Storage

End of Mowing Season Procedures

Clean machine, touch up paint, change oil, drain fuel tank, remove/recharge battery, store indoors.
