Design
01 Description
Following on from the exterior styling the interior design
brings key features into the cabin, such as floating
elements to add to the sense of depth and organic shapes
for a welcoming and ergonomic layout.
02 Customer Benefits
The interior for Sports Series has been created with a focus
on space and ergonomics in mind, offering great outward
visibility and interior space for occupants and their
belongings. Organic curves carried inside from the exterior
design bring delicate tension without aggression to ensure
the cabin remains a welcoming environment.
The facia and door trim incorporate floating elements
which visually (and practically) remove mass, as well as
adding layered depth and integrated components such as
speakers and the IRIS system.
INTERIOR
Stowage of everyday items within the cabin has been an
important consideration, as such the design of the cabin
includes concealed pockets within each of the doors, a central
bin under the arm rest and a glove box. In addition, the centre
tunnel can stow loose items or drinks within multi-purpose
sections.
The possibility for customisation is inherent within the design,
allowing selection of leather and Alcantara or perhaps carbon
fibre in a number of areas. Intricate highlights of satin chrome
add a premium touch, or alternatively as an option, this can be
altered to a sharper Smoked chrome finish.
03 Options & Limitations
Due to federal vehicles being equipped with additional knee
airbags these vehicles don’t have a passenger side glove box
installed.
