01 Description
Dual-zone climate control and air conditioning installed as
standard.
02 Customer Benefits
Dual-zone system allowing fully automatic and independent
settings for passenger and driver. A new control system first
used by us on the McLaren P1™, provides full control
through the central IRIS system via a quick access button.
This solution improves functionality but more importantly,
saves weight in the process.
For Sports Series the system performance has been
enhanced through a number of updates to the fluid transfer
systems. Larger bores and internal heat exchanger, that
allows a level of condenser function within specially
designed twin-wall tubes, add towards improved cooling
performance.
INTERIOR
03 Options & Limitations
Independent driver and passenger control is limited to
temperature. Automatic system function can be operated in
two states, ‘Auto’ or ‘Auto Lo’, the latter utilising lower fan
speeds to obtain the desired temperature to limit fan sound
heard within the cabin.
