Cleaning
Parts of the pump that do not come in contact with breastmilk do not require
cleaning on each use. Clean these parts prior to the first use per instructions below
and again whenever you see necessary. All other parts, which do come in contact
with breastmilk, are cleaned and sanitised per instructions.
Parts that do not come in contact with breastmilk are:
• Motor unit
• USB Type-C Cable
Instructions: When necessary, wipe the motor unit with a soft, damp cloth while
the unit is off. Do not submerge the motor unit or charger in water or sanitiser.
Clean and sanitise all other parts of the pump, which come in contact with
breastmilk, prior to first use and after each subsequent use.
A. Before first use:
1. Disassemble all parts. (See page 3.)
2. Wash in warm soapy water.
3. Rinse well.
4. Submerge parts in a pot of water and boil for 3-5 minutes.Use a large pot to
avoid parts touching sides or bottom of pots.
5. Shake of excess water and air dry on a dedicated rack or clean cloth.
B. After each use:
1. Disassemble all parts. Put away those parts that don’t come in contact with
breastmilk.
2. Rinse remaining parts with cold water to remove breastmilk.
3. Wash in warm soapy water. Valve can be cleaned by gentle rubbing between
fingers.
4. Rinse well.
5. Shake of excess water and air dry on a dedicated rack or clean cloth.
How to sanitise:
• Follow cleaning step B1-4.
• Submerge parts in a pot of water and boil for 3-5 minutes. Use a large pot to
avoid parts touching sides or bottom of pots.
• Shake off excess water and air dry on a dedicated rack or clean cloth.
• Alternatively, you can wash all parts that come in contact with the breastmilk
(not the motor) in the dishwasher upside down on the top rack (65°C or 149°F).

Do not thaw frozen breast milk or warm breast milk in a microwave or a
pan of boiling water to prevent burns.
