CLEANING, DISPOSAL
Cleaning
The microwave should be cleaned regularly and food particles should be
removed. Poor appliance hygiene can lead to damage to the surfaces, which
in turn can reduce the lifespan of the appliance and even lead to dangerous
situations.
• Before cleaning, always remove the mains plug from the socket!
• Never let the appliance itself come into contact with liquid and never dip the
appliance into water.
Warning!
There is a risk of electric shock.
• Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
• Wash the grill stand and the dish in a mild detergent solution or in the
dishwasher.
• Wipe out in the interior if necessary with a damp cloth.
• Parts of the door, the viewing window, and especially the seal and the
closing mechanism should be cleaned carefully with a mild detergent
solution. Pay great care to avoid damaging these parts.
• If necessary you can also wipe the housing with a damp cloth.
• Allow the microwave to dry off with the door open. Always wait until the
microwave is completely dry. Only then should you reconnect the
appliance to the power.
Disposal
At the end of its life, the microwave should not be disposed of with
the household rubbish. Seek the advice of your local authority on
correct, environmentally-friendly disposal.
