w 3/4-INCH SOLENOID VALVE-CLEAN/SEAL REPLACEMENT
Solenoid valves should only need to be cleaned when they are not functioning properly. If
cleaning fails to correct the valve problem, replace the entire valve assembly.

Locate the solenoid valve.
Remove the clip and solenoid coil to access the four bolts securing the assembly.
Remove the four bolts from the valve assembly.
Remove the internal components.
* Remove the plunger, seal, and spring.
* Note the orientation of the spring as you remove it.
Clean or replace the plunger and the seal.
Reinstall the plunger, seal, and spring.
Reassemble the valve housing in reverse order.
Install valve housing.
+ Hand tighten all bolts, then tighten alternating corner bolts to 38 in/Ibs.
Install the solenoid coil and replace clip.
・ Ensure that the anti-chatter spring is in place.
