PERCUSSION DRILLING MODE
Set the selector ring in percussion mode
to connect the percussion function.
The percussion function makes it possible
to drill in concrete and brick.
SPEED CONTROL
NOTE:
Do not touch the speed control when power
switch is pressed in. This can damage the tool.
• Move the speed control (1) back from the
chuck to position 1 for low speed.
– Use the low speed mode for screw
driving and for drilling holes with a
large diameter.
• Move the speed control (1) forward to the
chuck to position 2 for high speed.
– Use the high speed mode for drilling
small holes.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Switch o the tool and disconnect the power
supply (remove battery/unplug) before
cleaning and maintenance – risk of electric
shock and accidental start.
• Wipe the tool with a dry or slightly damp
cloth. Do not use a wet cloth. Do not use
detergent that contains solvent or
corrosive, abrasive additives – risk of
damaging the surface of the tool.
• Do not block the ventilation openings on
the tool – risk of overheating.

Drilling in plastic
Use a steel drill to drill in plastic and follow the
instructions for drilling in wood.
SCREW DRIVING MODE
NOTE:
• Check that the bit is properly inserted
before you starting working with the
tool.
• Do not overtighten the screws – risk of
damaging the screw head or thread.
Tightening screws
1. Set the rotation switch to clockwise
rotation.
2. Place the bit in a vertical line on the
screw head. Otherwise the screw can be
damaged.
3. Press the bit rmly against the screw and
screw in the screw.
4. When the screw had gone in, release the
power switch before you stop pressing
the tool against the screw. Otherwise you
can damage the screw or screw head. The
bit or tool can be damaged if you do not
release the power switch immediately.
Unscrewing screws
1. Set the rotation switch to anticlockwise
rotation.
2. Place the bit in a vertical line on the
screw head. Otherwise the screw can be
damaged.
3. Press the bit rmly against the screw and
unscrew the screw.
