AIR FILTER
NOTE:
Clean the air lter after an interval of 12
working hours to ensure proper and safe
functionality. The engine can be damaged if it
is run without a properly functioning lter.
1. Undo the screw and remove the lter cover
and lter unit.

2. Wash the lter unit with water and a mild
detergent. Do not use petrol or solvents.
3. Allow the lter to dry in the air.
4. Replace the lter unit and lter cover and
tighten the screw.
NOTE:
Do not start the engine without an air lter.
SHARPENING THE LINE BLADE
1. Remove the line blade (A) from the guard
(B) by undoing the screws (C).

2. Put the line blade in a vice and sharpen it
with a at le. Make sure to maintain the
angle of the edge.
3. Ret the line blade on the guard.
REPLACING THE TRIMMER LINE

STORAGE
• Clean the clearing saw well after use and
check that it is in good condition and that
no parts are missing or damaged.
• Replace or repair any damaged parts. Store
the clearing saw in a dry place with the
blade guard tted.
• Clean the line spool at the end of the
season, and if necessary replace.
