2.8 Service
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there
is a risk of death or injury.
Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery
packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or
authorized service providers.
2.9 Safety instructions for operation
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there
is a risk of death or injury.
Do not use the product if you are tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, drugs or medicine. This has a
negative eect on your vision, alertness, coordination and
judgement.
Do not allow any children or anyone who is unfamiliar
with the product to use it.
Do not use the product if it is damaged.
Do not use the product with damaged or missing safety
devices.
Do not use the product if the trigger or trigger lockout
does not function correctly.
Do not use a product with faulty or missing handles.
Do not modify the product.
The product must only be used for its intended purpose.
Turn o the product and remove the battery before it is
left unattended.
Turn o the product and remove the battery if the product
vibrates abnormally.
Inspect the product before use. Make sure that all screws
are tight and that moving parts do not jam.
Do not operate the product in a place where objects can
get stuck and be thrown out by the product. Ejected
objects can cause serious personal injury and/or material
damage.
Stop the product and make sure that all moving parts
have stopped before you put the product down.
Do not attempt to stop the product with your hands.
Always hold the product in its designated handles.
Only operate the product in daylight.
Stand at minimum 10 m from power lines.
Make sure to keep your balance at all times.
Do not run with the product.
Make sure that the ventilation openings are free from
debris.
2.10 Battery safety
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there
is a risk of death or injury.
The product produces an electromagnetic field when in
use. If you have a medical implant you should consult
your doctor and/or the manufacturer of the medical
implant before you operate the product.
The battery can emit fumes when used incorrectly or if
damaged. Such fumes can irritate the respiratory system.
Breathe in fresh air. Speak to a doctor if the discomfort
persists.
Do not use damaged, defective or deformed batteries. Do
not open the battery.
Do not charge the battery near acid and/or flammable
gas.
Do not expose the battery to heat or fire.
Do not charge the battery at temperatures lower than
10 °C or higher than 40 °C.
Do not expose the battery to high temperatures or strong
sunlight.
The battery will get hot during use. Let the battery
become cool before charging.
Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
2.11 Vibration safety
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there
is a risk of death or injury.
There is a risk of personal injury as a result of vibration
during prolonged and/or incorrect use.
During prolonged use vibrations are suspected to cause
circulation problems in the hands and arms. Stop
working immediately and seek medical attention if you
experience numbness, itching, tingling or pain, or if your
skin changes color. To limit the risk of injuries, maintain
the tool correctly, keep your body warm and take
frequent breaks.
