4.3 To adjust the front handle

1 Loosen the front handle screw.
2 Adjust the front handle to an applicable position.
3 Tighten the front handle screw.
4.4 To adjust the telescopic shaft

1 Loosen the telescopic shaft locking nut.
2 Adjust the telescopic shaft to an applicable length.
3 Tighten the telescopic shaft locking nut.
4.5 To adjust the trimmer angle

1 Push and hold the angle adjustment locking button.
2 Adjust the trimmer unit to an applicable angle.
3 Release the angle adjustment locking button. Make
sure that it clicks back into place.
4.6 To adjust the handle rotation

1 Push the handle rotation latch to release it.
2 Turn the handle until the latch clicks back into place.
4.7 To use the plant protection bar
● Fold the plant protection bar up or down. (Figure 10)
4.8 To attach the battery
Warning! Make sure that the power switch is not
pushed when the battery is attached.
● Push the battery into the battery holder. Make sure that
the battery clicks into place.
Caution! Do not force the battery into the battery
holder.
4.9 To remove the battery
● Push and hold the lock button on the battery and remove
it from the battery holder.
4.10 To operate the product
1 Hold the product tightly with both hands.
2 Push and hold the safety switch.
3 Push and hold the the power switch to start the
product.
4 Tilt the product at an angle of 30°.
5 Sweep the product slowly from right to left to trim the
grass.
Note! Trim long grass in steps from top to bottom.
6 Release the power switch to turn o the product.
5 Maintenance
Warning! Remove the battery before you do any work
on the product.
5.1 To clean the product
Clean the product regularly.
1 Remove the battery from the product.
2 Remove dirt and debris from the product with a soft
brush.
3 Clean the product if needed with a moist cloth and a
mild detergent.
6 Storage
1 Remove the battery from the product.
2 Store the product in a dry and frost-free place
protected from direct sunlight.
Caution! Do not put the product down on its trimmer
guard to avoid deformation of the trimmer guard.
7 Disposal
● Make sure that you follow local regulations when you
discard the product. Do not burn the product.
