ADJUSTING THE MITRING ANGLE
NB: Never press the on/o switch (19) whilst adjusting the mitring angle. If the power tool starts,
there is a serious risk of injury.
Adjusting horizontal mitring angle
The horizontal mitring angle can be set between 46° (left) and 46° (right). Pull the handle grip (9) to
turn the sawing table (11) to the left or right until the angle marker shows the desired mitring angle.
Adjusting vertical mitring angle
The vertical mitring angle can be set between 0° and 45°.
1. Unscrew the locking knob (23).
2. Use the handle (1) to swing the saw arm until it is at the desired mitring angle.
3. Hold the saw arm in position and tighten the locking knob (23). In order to quickly
set the standard angles of 0° and 45°, there are end stops on the frame itself.
4. Unscrew the locking knob (23).
5. Pull the handle (1) to turn the saw arm.
6. to the right stop (0°) or left stop (45°).
7. Tighten the locking knob (23) again.
Starting the crosscut/mitre saw
Start the power tool by pressing and holding the switch (19). NB: For safety reasons, it is not possible
to lock the switch (19) in its pressed position. It must be held down whilst in use. The saw arm cannot
be lowered until the locking lever (3) is pushed. To be able to saw, both the switch and locking lever
(3) must therefore be pushed.
Switching o the crosscut/mitre saw
Switch the machine o by releasing the on/o switch (19).
WORKING ADVICE
General sawing instructions
Before sawing, it must rst be ensured that the saw blade at no time can come in contact with
the stops, screw clamps or other machine parts.
Remove any mounted auxiliary stops or adjust them accordingly so that they are not in the way.
Protect the saw blade against impact and shock.
Do not subject the saw blade to lateral pressure.
Do not saw warped/bent workpieces.
The workpiece must always have a straight edge facing the stop.
Long workpieces must be supported.
