Rotate the Function control 1 to the CD
position to turn the unit on and select
CD. Open the CD compartment door by
pressing the CD Door OPEN area

Place a CD on the center spindle, with
the printed label side facing up. Close
the CD compartment door.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p) button;
playback will start automatically and
the Play indicator will appear in the
display.

Adjust the VOLUME control 1 and
Bass Boost button 2 as desired.
Press the Bass Boost button to the “in”
position to enhance the overall bass
sound. Press to the “out” position for
normal bass sound.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p) button
again to pause playback; the Play indi-
cator will blink. Press the PLAY/PAUSE
(
®p) button once again to continue
playback; the Play indicator will stop
blinking.

To skip forward or backward through
the tracks on the disc, press the
MIN/Skip/Search
o1 or HR/Skip/
Search
n2button.

To search forward or backward through the
music on a disc, press and hold the
MIN/Skip/Search
o1 or HR/Skip/Search
n2button, a chattering noise will be heard.
