7 Trouble-shooting
The following table shows explanations of the error messages and tips on how to
avoid incorrect measurements.
The most commonly encountered problems are caused by:
• The test strips or cells not being inserted correctly.
• Cells being dirty or strongly scratched.
• The reaction time of the strip not being right.
• Incorrect use of the tests (e. g. strips / tests not properly stored, pH range
not cor rectly adjusted).

• Insert the batteries
correctly

smaller than the
lowest measurement
value
• Dilute the sample; do
not forget to consider
the factor for dilution
when reporting the
result!
