2. Rotate the filter 1/4 turn to the unlock position to remove.
INSTALLATION
1. Place the nylon washer and rubber washer onto the filter cover.

2. Insert filter into opening. Place the front tip of the filter into the through hole and align the two tabs on the
filter cover with the notches in the opening.
3. Rotate the filter 1/4 turn to the lock position.
4. Reinstall the hose and secure with clamp.
Lubrication Points
1. Lubricate the following with Quicksilver or Mercury Precision Special Lubricant 101.

• Trim Rod Ball Ends ‑ Turn the ball ends to work the lubricant into the ball sockets.

2. Lubricate the following with Quicksilver or Mercury Precision Lubricants Anti‑Corrosion Grease or 2‑4‑C
with Teflon.
