Steering friction adjustment ‑ Adjust this knob to achieve the
desired steering friction (drag) on the tiller handle. Turn knob
clockwise to tighten friction and counterclockwise to loosen
friction.

c - Steering friction knob
Shift handle ‑ Controls gear shift.

1. Stop the engine. Shift the outboard into forward gear.
