Shift or throttle cable kinked. Replace cable.
Friction adjustment excessive. Adjust friction.
1. Self‑test: When the key switch is placed to the "RUN" position, the pointer on the analog gauge will sweep from
the bottom of the scale to the top of the scale and then point to the actual trim position.
