4. Fill the drive unit through the oil fill/drain hole with Mercury Racing Gear
Oil until an air‑free stream of lubricant flows from the oil vent hole.

5. Remove the tube from the oil fill/drain hole. Quickly install the sealing
washer and the oil fill/drain screw. Securely tighten the screw.
6. Add the specified gear lubricant to the monitor bottle.
7. When the oil starts to run out the oil vent hole, reinstall the drive oil vent
screw and seal. Securely tighten the screw.
