Lower
the
outboard
to
the
vertical
operating
position.
Make
sure all cooling water intake holes are submerged.

the
fuel
tank
vent
screw,
located
in
the
filler
cap,
on
manual venting type fuel tanks.

Position
the
fuel
line
primer
bulb
so
the
arrow
on
the
side
of
the
bulb
is
pointing
up.
Squeeze
the
fuel
line
primer
bulb
several times until it feels firm.

Set
the
lanyard
stop
switch
to
"RUN"
position.
