Setup Screen #1

Step 1. The ashing eld, either Units, Date or Time indicates the locaon of the cursor. To move from

one eld to the other push the CURSOR buon.

Step 2. To set the Amplitude Units, press the CURSOR buon unl the Units eld is ashing. Press the

Select buon to select:

• ENGLISH

• METRIC

Step 3. Press the CURSOR buon unl the Date/month/day/year eld is ashing. Use the back space or

le arrow buon to delete the old numbers. Use the keypad and enter the month, press the cursor but-

ton and enter the day, press the cursor but- ton and enter the year.

Step 4. Press the CURSOR buon unl the me/hour/minutes/seconds eld is ashing. Use the back

space or le arrow buon to delete the old numbers. Use the keypad and enter the hour, press the cur-

sor buon and enter the minutes, press the cursor buon and enter the seconds. Be sure to use military

hour me values. For example 1:00 PM is 13:00, 2:00 PM is 14:00,. 3:00 PM is 15:00, etc.

Step 5. Press the down arrow. Setup Screen #2 appears. (See Fig. 5-4)

Step 1. Press the CURSOR buon unl the AUTOPRINT eld is ashing. Press the Select buon to select:

• ON - Toggles on the automac prinng of up to 100 tests, with up to 25 readings per test

stored in memory.

• OFF - Toggles on one prinng of only one test at a me.

Step 2. Press the CURSOR buon unl the MON.UNITS eld is ashing. Press the Select buon to select

one of the Monitor Mode units:

• Standard (Linear)

• RMS

• DB

NOTE: ADB and VDB are valid. If Displacement and DB are selected at the same me, the display

defaults to P-P linear units.

NOTE: The test number is also displayed on this screen, however it should only be changed in the

Sensivity Mode.

NOTE: The arrow points in both direcons. This means you can press the Up arrow to go back to Setup

Screen #1 or the Down arrow to go on to Setup Screen #3.

Step 3. Press the Down arrow. Setup Screen #3 appears. (See Fig. 5-5)

Step 1. Press the CURSOR buon unl the LED me-out eld is ashing. Use the back space or le arrow

buon to delete the old numbers. Use the keypad and enter the LED display me-out in minutes, before

the display automacally shuts o. Default display me-out is 1 minute.

Step 2. Press the CURSOR buon unl the Power me-out eld is ashing. Use the back space or le

arrow buon to delete the old numbers. Use the keypad and enter the LED display me-out in minutes,

before the instrument automacally shuts o. Default display me-out is 5 minutes.
