The
beam of the applicator is circular in all planes parallel to the
applicator face.
If a cross section is taken through the axis of the beam,
the pattern varies with distance from the face. A few inches from the
face, It is a single smooth bell-shaped curve. Nearer
the
face the pattern
varies more due to phase cancellations. A sample curve as measured 5
mm from the surface is shown below.

Indicator:
The
timer digital indicator indicates
set
time in minutes
and
seconds prior to the start of treatment
and
treatment time
remaining during the treatment.
The
timer also indicates the
remaining treatment time during the "hold" period.
Accuracy:
± 1 second at all settings
Maximum treatment time: 29 minutes
