tocleanthethermometercasingandthe
measuringprobe.Ensurethatnoliquid
enterstheinteriorofthethermometer.
Neveruseabrasivecleaningagents,thin-
nersorbenzeneforcleaningandnever immerse the instrument in
water or other cleaning liquids.Takecarenottoscratchthesur-
faceoftheprobelensandthedisplay.Removethebatteryfromthe
instrumentifitisnotrequiredforextendedperiodsoftimeinorderto
avoiddamagetothethermometerresultingfromaleakingbattery.
