What to do if there is an open or short circuit of temperature sensor in my Midea M2OD-18HFN1-Q?

First, check the connections between the temperature sensor and the PCB. Ensure they are properly connected. If the connections are good, measure the resistance value of the sensor. If the resistance is not normal, replace the sensor. If the resistance is normal, replace the indoor PCB.

Why is the indoor fan speed out of control on my Midea M2OD-18HFN1-Q Air Conditioner?

A possible cause is a problem with the PCB. To check this: 1. Power on the unit and set it to fan mode at high speed. 2. Let it run for 15 seconds. 3. Measure the voltage of pin1 and pin2. If the voltage is less than 100V (for 208~240V power supply) or 50V (for 115V power supply), the PCB likely has issues and needs replacement. Alternatively, with the unit in standby, measure the voltage of pin1-pin3 and pin4-pin3 in the fan motor connector. If the voltage is not within the expected range (refer to the voltage table in the manual), the PCB needs to be replaced.
