Fault Analysis of possible causes Countermeasure
White floating
objects in hot
water
• Water scale debris, water with
high mineral contents (mineral
water, ion treated water) may
cause water scale easily.
Theses scales may stuck on
the liner surface or float in
water
• Clean with detergent
• Press the "De-chlorination and
boiling" button
• Non-abnormal situation
• If it is clogged by scales, add citric
acid to boil and clean; use a brush to
clean the mesh and make the mesh
unobstructed.
• Open the top lid first, wait for
1 minute till the bubbling stops,
and then drain off the water.
• Press the “Unlock” button to
release the lock, then press the
“Pour out water” button.
• Reduce water level
• Non-abnormal situation
• Send to after-sales services
• Send to after-sales services
• Add water into the kettle and
reconnect to power supply,
or send to after-sales services
• For disinfection purpose,
household tap water contains
chlorine, and chlorine may
produce chlorine smell
