Maintenance Features

Cleaning and Care:

  • Filter Clean:
    • Clean the lint filter after each use by pulling it straight up.
    • Use a wiping cloth or fingers to clean the filter.
    • If cleaned with a damp cloth or water, ensure it is sun-dried before reinstallation.
  • Cleaning Cabinet and Inner Tube:
    • Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the cabinet and inner tube.
    • Do not rinse directly with water.
    • Do not use neutral scour, gasoline, or alcohol wipes.
    • Open the front door for aeration after cleaning the inner tube.

Safety Reset Button:

  • The dryer has a safety cut-out switch activated by temperature.
  • The reset button is on the backboard. If the dryer is not heating, this button must be reset after waiting 10 minutes for cooling down.
  • The most common reasons for overheating are a blocked filter or blocked exhaust outlets.
  • Clean the lint filter after each load to prevent overheating.
  • The cut-out switch may operate due to a blocked lint filter, blocked exhaust outlets, poor ventilation, or lightweight garments being sucked over the filter.

Troubleshooting: The manual includes a troubleshooting guide for common issues:

  • Will not start: Check for power cut, loose plug, overloaded clothes, or a cut temperature fuse.
  • External hot or can smell hot: Check for a dirty lint filter or obstructed uptake/exhaust duct.
  • Clothes too dry: Could be due to overloaded machine, not removing clothes promptly, improper sorting, or excessively high temperature.
  • Clothes shrink: Observe maintenance labels; if clothes are prone to shrinking, remove them when slightly damp and hang to dry.
  • Hairball on clothes: Common with synthetic and permanent press fibers due to friction. Use fabric softener or spray settled glue on cuffs/necklines when ironing. Turn sarcenet inside out to reduce rubbing.

Other Functions Description (Error Codes):

  • E3 (Temperature Sensor error): Indicates an open temperature sensor or PCB fault. The program stops, and the dryer goes into a fault state, indicated by "Led less" and "standard flashing."
