Function Description

The tumble dryer operates by circulating warm air through laundry to remove moisture. As a heat pump dryer, it reuses heat, making it energy-efficient. It features various drying programs tailored to different fabric types and desired dryness levels. Usage Features

The tumble dryer offers a user-friendly control panel with a program selector knob and option buttons.

Quick Start:

  1. Plug in the appliance.
  2. Load laundry and close the door.
  3. Turn on the dryer.
  4. Select a program.
  5. Select desired functions (optional).
  6. Press start.

Before Each Drying:

  • Allow the dryer to stand for 2 hours after transport.
  • Before first use, clean the inside drum with a soft fabric.
  • Thoroughly spin laundry in a washing machine to reduce drying time and save energy.
  • Sort laundry by fabric type for uniform drying.
  • Close zips, hooks, eyelets, buttons, and tie fabric belts.
  • Remove all objects from pockets.
  • Close duvet covers and pillow cases.
  • Leave jackets open and undo long zips for even drying.
  • Avoid over-drying to prevent creases.
  • Do not dry items containing rubber or similar elastic materials.
  • Keep the area around the dryer clean to prevent explosions from coal dust or flour.
  • Open the door only after the program finishes to avoid hot steam.
  • Clean the lint filter and empty the water container after each use.
  • Do not dry clothes after dry-clean processes.

Drying Programmes:

  • Cotton (Extra Standard, Iron): For single or multi-layer cotton, from completely dry to damp for ironing.
  • Mix: For mixed fabrics from cotton and synthetics.
  • Synthetics (Extra Standard): For thick or multi-layer synthetic fabrics, or thin synthetic textiles not ironed.

  • Cool (Time): To air items without heating (10-30 min).
  • Refresh (Time): To refresh clothes or remove odors (20-150 min).

Options:

  • Anti-Crease: Adds 30 or 120 minutes at the end of the cycle to prevent creases (available for most programs).
  • Delay: Delays the program start up to 24 hours.
  • Silence: Reduces drum rotation speed to lower noise, extending drying time.
  • Dry Level: Adjusts dryness level in four grades (available for most programs).
  • Time: Adjusts drying time in 10-minute steps for Warm, Cool, and Refresh programs.
  • Hygiene: Sterilizes clothes during drying (use with caution for delicate laundry).
  • Child Lock: Prevents accidental button presses. Activated by pressing "Silence" and "Dry Level" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Safety Instructions:

  • Ensure proper earthing and correct mains voltage.
  • Do not pull the power cord forcefully; grasp the plug.
  • Do not plug/unplug with wet hands.
  • Do not bend, clamp, or damage the power cord.
  • Do not connect via extension leads or multi-socket adapters.
  • Ensure the plug is accessible for disconnection.
  • If the appliance overheats, unplug immediately.
  • Do not install behind a lockable or sliding door that restricts full opening.
  • Do not disassemble or install without instruction.

  • Do not allow lint to accumulate around the dryer.
  • Children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced capabilities, may use the appliance with supervision and instruction.
  • Children should not play with the appliance or perform cleaning/maintenance unsupervised.
  • Keep children under 3 away unless continuously supervised.
  • Always close the door to prevent children or pets from climbing in.

Maintenance Features

Emptying the Water Container:

  1. Pull out the container with both hands.
  2. Tilt and pour out the condensate water.
  3. Reinstall the container.
  • Empty after each use. The dryer will pause and display a warning if the container is full.
  • Do not drink condensate water.
  • Do not operate the dryer without the water container.

Cleaning the Filters:

  • Door Filter: Clean after each cycle.
    1. Open the door.
    2. Remove the filter.
    3. Open the filter and remove fluff.
    4. Clean under running water if needed.
    5. Dry thoroughly before reinstalling.
  • Base Filter: Clean after every fifth drying program.
    1. Open the cover.
    2. Unlock three locking levers and grasp the filter handle.
    3. Remove and clean the filter (under water if heavily linted).
    4. Clean the rubber sealing.
    5. Re-insert the filter and lock the levers.
    6. Close the cover.
  • Fluff accumulation blocks air circulation, increasing drying time and energy consumption.
  • Disconnect power before cleaning filters.
  • Do not operate without filters.

Cleaning the Heat Exchanger:

  • Approximately every 6 months, remove fluff using a vacuum cleaner with a dusting brush.
  • Do not touch the heat exchanger with your hand to avoid injury.
  • Clean without applying pressure to avoid damage to cooling fins. Damaged fins can impair drying performance.

Cleaning the Tumble Dryer:

  • Disconnect power before cleaning.
  • Clean with a damp cloth (damped with clean water only).
  • Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaners, glass cleaners, or all-purpose cleaners, as these can damage plastic surfaces.
  • Wear gloves when cleaning.
  • Clean the door, especially the inside window.
  • Clean the sealing around the door opening.
  • Clean the humidity sensor inside the drum.
  • Remove all filters and clean their sealing and air flow openings.
  • Dry all parts with a soft cloth before starting the dryer.

Troubleshooting: The manual provides a table for common error codes and solutions:

  • "E32" (Humidity sensor error): Contact service center.
  • "E33" (Temperature sensor error): Contact service center.
  • "E64" (BLDC motor communication error): Contact service center.
  • "E82" (PCB communication error): Contact service center.
  • Water pump failure or water level sensor failure: Contact service center.
  • "J" (Container is full): Empty the container.
  • Display not on: Check power supply, mains plug, selected program, and press On/Off button.
  • "J" is lighting (after emptying): Restart dryer. If still lighting, contact service.
  • "E" is lighting: Clean lint filter.
  • Dryer does not start: Check mains connection, power on, door closure, program setting, and press Start/Pause.
  • Degree of dryness not reached or drying time too long: Clean lint filter and heat exchanger, empty water container, check drain hose, ensure appropriate installation place, keep air inlet clean, use higher drying intensity or time program.
  • Humming noises: Normal compressor operation.
  • Dryer switches off at end of program: Normal energy-saving function.

If problems persist, press the On/Off button, pull out the mains plug, and call service. Only authorized technicians should carry out repairs.
