DETERGENT.
The amo unt of det er gent needed c an vary due t o d iffer ences in wa te r h ardness . To de te rmin e th e water ha rdness in
your area,c ontact yourlocal waterutility orareawater softening company. The harder thewater, the more detergent
you may need . R ememb er, you s houl d adjust the amo unt of deterge nt y ou use by sm all amounts unt il you fi nd the
correct a mo unt.
To remove hard water spots, try the following:
Ru n d ishes throug h a normal wash pro gram.
Remove all metal dishware,such as cutlery,pans, etc.,
fr o m th e dishwasher.
Do not add detergent.
Po ur two c ups of vi negar in to a bowl and set the bowl f ace
up on the lowe r rac k of the dishwas he r.
Run the dishes through a normal wash prog ram.
If this doe sn't wor k, tr y t he same p rocess with 1 / 4 cup of
c itric acid crys tals in st ead of v ineg ar.

Keep yourdetergent fresh and dry. Don't put powder detergent
into thedispenser untilYou're readyto wash dishes.
Th er inse aid is rel ease d d ur ing the final r inse to prev ent
w ater from forming dr oplets on your dishes th at c an l eave
spots and stre aks. It al so im proves d ryin g by allowin g
water to"sheet"off the dishes.

thedetergent dispenser.To fill the dispenser,open the
capand pour the rinse aid into thed ispenser until the level
i ndi c at or tur n s co mplet e l y bl ac k. T he d i spe ns e r hol d s
about 100 ml o f l iquid r inse aid.
Be ca reful not to o verfi ll the disp enser, becau se this c ould
causeoversudsing.Wipeawayanyspillswithadampcloth.
Don ' t for g et to rep la ce the cap bef o re y ou c l ose th e
dishwasher door.
If you havesoft water, you may not need rinse aid for it may
cause a w hite film to de velo p o n your dishes.
The dis pe nser must be refilled b efor e the start o f each wash c ycle followin g the ins tru ctions pro vide d in the" Wa sh
Cycle Table".Your dishwasher u es than conventional dishwashers. Generally, only one
tab lespoon of deterge nt is needed f or a norm al w ash loa d. and, m ore heav ily soiled i te ms need more de ter gent.

Replace the capby inserting it align ed with "open"
arr ow and t urni ng it to the close d(right) arro w.
Ameasured amount of rinse aid isreleased during the final rinse.Aswith detergent, the amount
of rins e ai d ne eded f or your dish es de pe nds on the har dn ess of th ewa ter in yo ur a rea. Too much
rinse aidcanresult in lather of foamingandcause cloudiness or steakson your dishes. If the
waterinyourareaisverysoft,youmaynotneedrinseaid.Ifyoudo,youcandilutetherinseaid
with an equal amount of water.
The rinse a id d ispenser has f ou r se tting s.A lway s sta rt with the dis pe nser set o n" 2 ". If sp ots a nd
poordrying are problems, increase theamount of rinseaid dispensed by removing the dispenser
lid and r ota ting the dia l to "3" . If the di sh es still ar e not dr ying prope rl y or ar e s pott ed, ad jus t the
dial to" 4".. We sugg est y ou to set on "2" .
