• When activated the repeater channels will be displayed as the
channel number (Ex. 15,16,17,etc.) and the RP icon
• Repeater channels will appear immediately following the standard
GMRS channels (ex: 20, 21, 22, 15rP, 16rP, 17rP, etc.).
8.0 BACK LIGHT
1. Press and release the Menu button to place the radio in
“Menu” mode.
2. Use the Channel Up or Channel Down buttons to scroll the menu
options until BACK LIGHT is selected
3. Press the Lock button to conrm your selection.
4. Use the Channel Up or Channel Down button to change the back
light color option.
5. When the desired back light option is shown on the LCD display,
press the Lock button to conrm your selection.
YOU MUST PRESS THE LOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM YOUR SELECTION
OR THE BACK LIGHT COLOR WILL NOT BE CHANGED.
9.0 BAND MODE
1. Press and release the Menu button to place the radio in
“Menu” mode.
2. Use the Channel Up or Channel Down buttons to scroll the menu
options until BAND MODE is selected
3. Press the Lock button to conrm your selection.
4. Use the Channel Up or Channel Down button to toggle the
band mode setting between NARROW and WIDE.
5. When the band mode is shown on the LCD display, press the
Lock button to conrm your selection.
YOU MUST PRESS THE LOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM YOUR SELECTION
OR THE BAND MODE SETTING WILL NOT BE CHANGED.
10.0 NOISE CANCEL
1. Press and release the Menu button to place the radio in
“Menu” mode.
2. Use the Channel Up or Channel Down buttons to scroll the menu
options until NOISE CANCEL is selected
3. Press the Lock button to conrm your selection.
4. Use the Channel Up or Channel Down button to toggle the
noise cancel setting between ON and OFF.
