Installation distance between cooking appliance and cooker

When planning the installation distance between the cooking appliance and the
bottom of the cooker hood, the information provided by the cooking appliance
manufacturer must be taken into account.
Unless a greater distance is specified by the cooking appliance manufacturer,
the following minimum safety distances must be ensured.
Please also observe the information given under “Warning and safety instruc-
tions”.

 Risk of heat damage.
The rising heat generated by a gas hob may damage the cooker hood.
Fitting a cooker hood over a gas hob is not permitted.
