Heating up the steam oven
Take all accessories out of the oven
compartment if applicable.
To remove the grease from the ring
heater element, heat the steam oven
up to 395°F (200°C) using the Con-
vection Bake operating mode for
30minutes.
Proceed as described in “Operation”.
Danger of injury caused by hot
surfaces.
The steam oven gets hot during op-
eration. You could burn yourself on
the heater elements, oven compart-
ment, or side racks.
Use pot holders when working in the
hot oven compartment.
The heater element will give off a
slight smell when it is heated for the
first time. The smell and any vapors
given off will dissipate after a while
and do not indicate a faulty connec-
tion or appliance.
It is important to ensure that the
kitchen is well ventilated during this
operation.
