Opening the drum door in the
event of a power failure

Switch the washing machine off.
There is a filter flap opener behind the
detergent drawer facia panel.
^ Remove the opener.

Use it to open the access flap.

Drain the water as described in the
"Cleaning the fluff filter and pump"
section of "Cleaning and care".

Always make sure that the drum
is stationary before reaching into the
machine to remove laundry.
Reaching into a moving drum is ex

tremely dangerous.
^ Pull the emergency release down-
wards (see illustration). The drum
door will open.
