machine, some of which may result from incorrect operation, can be put right
without contacting the Service Department.

The programme does not start.

The display remains
dark and the
programme selector is

Check whether
– the mains plug is plugged
in and switched on.
– the fuse or circuit breaker
has tripped.

Access via a code has
been activated. See

the entry. Deactivate the
code if you do not wish this
message to appear in the
display the next time the
machine is switched on.
The programme does
not start when Drain/
Spin has been
selected.
The machine has not
been prepared for
using for the first time.
Prepare the machine as
described in "Before using for
the first time".
The display is dark. The display has
switched off
automatically to save
energy (Standby
mode).
Press a button. The machine
comes out of standby mode.
