Usage Features:
The M12 PCG offers several features to enhance usability and performance:
- Battery System: Compatible with Milwaukee M12 battery packs and chargers. Users are advised to use only System M12 chargers and battery packs.
- Battery Indicator: The tool includes a battery charge indicator, typically showing charge levels in increments (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%).
- Variable Speed Control: A dial allows users to select different speed settings for material dispensing, ranging from slow (turtle icon) to fast (rabbit icon), providing control over application rate.
- Trigger Operation: The main trigger initiates material flow. Releasing the trigger activates the anti-drip feature, where the motor briefly runs to release rod pressure.
- Rod Release Lever: A separate lever is used to manually release the rod, facilitating easy cartridge changes.
- Overload Protection: The tool's battery electronics include overload protection. In case of extreme stress, the machine will automatically switch off. To restart, the user must switch the machine off and then on again.
- Cartridge Loading: The manual illustrates different methods for loading various types of cartridges, including standard tubes and sausage packs, by adjusting the plunger and barrel configuration.

Maintenance Features:
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of the M12 PCG:
- Cleaning: The carriage and rod must be kept clean and free of caulk and adhesive materials. Cleaning should be done according to the caulk/adhesive manufacturer's recommendations.
- Battery Care:
- Recharge battery packs that have not been used for some time before use.
- Avoid temperatures exceeding 50°C (122°F) to prevent reduced performance and overheating.
- Keep charger and battery pack contacts clean.
- For optimal life, fully charge battery packs after use.
- For storage longer than 30 days, store battery packs below 27°C, away from moisture, and in a 30%-50% charged condition. Recharge every six months during storage.
- Component Replacement: Use only Milwaukee accessories and spare parts. For components not described in the manual, contact Milwaukee service agents. Exploded views of the tool can be ordered by providing the machine type and six-digit number.
- Disposal: Do not dispose of electric tools, batteries, or rechargeable batteries with household waste. They must be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compatible recycling facility. Consult local authorities or retailers for recycling advice.
- Battery Acid: In case of battery acid leakage, wash immediately with soap and water. For eye contact, rinse thoroughly for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention.
- Fluid Immersion: Never immerse the tool, battery pack, or charger in fluid, and prevent fluids from flowing inside them, as corrosive or conductive fluids can cause a short circuit.
