What is MAPS?
• The way to eject ink with MAPS is different then the normal
pass
• The ordinary pass discharges ink droplets in a band, but when using
MAPS, ink drops are fired sparsely at the boundaries of passes.
• This reduces banding which tends to appear when printing in high
production (Low pass) mode
