Begin the reservoir change process by washing your hands.
Access the Reservoir & Tubing menu via pump options.
Select 'New Reservoir' and prepare for removal and disconnection.
Remove old reservoir from pump and rewind. Disconnect tubing from cannula.
Remove reservoir from package, ensure insulin vial is at room temperature.
Pull plunger to draw the planned amount of insulin into the reservoir.
Wipe vial, attach transfer guard, and push plunger to transfer insulin.
Tap reservoir to move air bubbles, push plunger to move air into vial.
Pull plunger back to the final needed insulin amount.
Hold reservoir upright, turn counter-clockwise, and remove from guard.
Gently push tubing connector onto reservoir and turn clockwise until locked.
Tap reservoir and push plunger to move air bubbles into the tubing.
Twist plunger counter-clockwise to loosen and remove.
Select 'Load Reservoir' from the pump menu to proceed.
Place the filled reservoir into the pump's reservoir compartment.
Turn the reservoir clockwise until it locks into place.
Select 'Next' after placing and locking the reservoir into the pump.
Select 'Load' and hold until complete to load the reservoir.
Hold 'Fill' until drops appear at the end of the tubing, then select 'Next'.
Warning: Do not fill the cannula; select 'Done' if not needed.
Gently hold cannula housing steady and push site connector until it clicks.
Reservoir change is complete. Check blood glucose 1-3 hours after.
