STATUS LIGHT
The red STATUS light indicates:

GETTING STARTED
RIPTIDE ULTERRA QUICK START UP GUIDE
POWER ON
The Riptide Ulterra trolling motor
must be powered “on” manually.
The remote will not turn the
motor on. The power button is
located on the base of the mo-
tor. Pressing the power button
will turn on Riptide Ulterra. The
red STATUS light and the green
SYSTEM READY light will both
be illuminated when powered on.
POWER OFF
To power off Riptide Ulterra, press and hold the POWER button approximately three seconds,
until the green light turns off . Riptide Ulterra has an auto-shut off as well. It will automatically
power off after 1.5 hours of inactivity in the stowed position.
WARNING:
When the motor is powered off while off the ramps, never turn the lower unit of
the motor manually (by hand). This will aff ect the alignment of the motor and
cause it to stow improperly.
SYSTEM READY LIGHT
The green SYSTEM READY light will remain lit while Riptide Ulterra is operating.
If the green light does not remain illuminated after power up, this is an indicator
of insuffi cient voltage/power.
Solid: Motor is stowed
Flashing: Motor is stowing/deploying
O ff : Motor is deployed or off
