Press the flash-mode button until
appears in the data panel.
• The shutter speed may be slow. Use of a tripod
is recommended.
• When you turn the camera off, the flash mode
will be reset to Autoflash or Autoflash with red-
eye reduction, whichever mode was used last.
The flash will not fire in this mode and the focus is set to infinity. It can be
used to photograph night scenes, ensure sharp focus for landscapes and
other distant subjects, and should be used when photographing through
glass.
