is,
the

operat-
ing
button
is
depressed
and
remain
open
until it
is
released.
NOTE
When a
standard
cable release
is
used with
the
XG-A
and
"8"
setting,
be
sure
not
to
let
any
metal
part
of
the
release
touch
any
metal
part
of
the
camera
body
while
the
shutter
is
open,
as this will cause
the
shutter
to
close
and
end
the
exposure
.
